Extract results with question and guidance
#1
Hi

Is there or has anyone worked out an easier way to extract the results on a single sheet in raw text that includes the:  Question ¦ Answer ¦ Guidance

I see there is an output sheet but it doesnt have the questions and guidance included.

I would like to conduct my own analysis and in my limited knowledge of excel the cyclic loops of data between the _output and question sheets doesnt help in putting the above together easily.

Hi, that's going to be difficult with the setup of the output sheet as you indicated. The guidance sheet does have an identifier, but if you want to use a lookup formula (VLOOKUP) you would have to put the identifier in column A for all values. Essentially, this is even a double lookup function, so you'd have to use something as described in https[://]www.excel-easy.com/examples/two-column-lookup[.]html. And even then, you'd still have to copy the questions into a single sheet. You could use a cell copy function (press '=' and select the cell from the other sheets ou wish to copy, and then drag down and correct where necessary) to make it a little faster.

It's clear though, that the tool was not designed with this in mind.
