SOC-CMM Certified Assessor

SOC-CMM Certified Assessor is a comprehensive 8-hour training, delivered in 2 parts that provide a deep dive into performing assessments using the SOC-CMM.

In this training, you will learn about the different types of SOCs and how the SOC-CMM model can be used to assess these. You will also learn about the whole assessment process: assessment types, data collection strategies, preparing for an assessment, conducting an assessment, analysing results and reporting in a effective format. The course also covers the creation of a target operating model for strategic direction in the SOC. With this training, you will be able to act at a strategic level within the SOC, and both assess the current state and define the target state for a SOC.

The training contains an additional optional practitioner workshop. During this workshop, you will get hands-on experience with assessing a Security Operations Centers using a simulated case study.

The cost of the training is EUR €1350,- excluding VAT. Pricing includes an exam voucher and the SOC-CMM assessment e-book. The cost of the additional practitioner workshop is EUR €500,- excluding VAT. Note: the practitioner workshop is only available as an add-on to the course, not separately.

Main course goals

• Learn to perform SOC-CMM assessments. The SOC-CMM certified assessor training teaches students how to perform SOC-CMM assessments. The training explains the whole process, from preparation to assessment and analysis/reporting.
• Get hands-on experience with preparing and performing a SOC-CMM assessment in the practitioner workshop. The workshop teaches you to properly define the parameters for the assessment and ensure a successful outcome.
• Get SOC-CA certified. The SOC-CMM certified assessor training includes an exam voucher. Students that successfully pass the exam receive an official certification and badge and can use the designation SOC-CA: SOC-CMM Certified Assessor.
